ACACIA
GALPINII
Monkey Thorn
This is a rare tree in the US. It is hard to say how big it may get. I'm
guessing around 15'-20' in tropical areas, but we grow it mainly as a
pre-bonsai. It grows really fast, the branches arch down, the leaflets
are small, and it has a interesting peeling bark, like Melaleuca does.
It has thorns along the branches. I haven't seen it flower yet. Full
sun, average water and fertilizer.
