ALOE SAPONARIA
Soap Aloe
This fast growing aloe is very tolerant of drought
and salt. It is an excellent choice for seaside, rock and cactus gardens.
Use
it as a ground cover under palms, agaves or large cacti. Also a great container
plant that will live for years in very little soil. Hummingbirds are attracted
to the showy flowers. Called Soap Aloe because the sap from the juicy leaves
makes suds in water and can be used as a soap substitute. Freely suckers.
