Beaucarnea recurvata, Pony Tail Palm
BEAUCARNEA RECURVATA
Pony Tail Palm

Even though Ponytail are called palms, the plant is not really a palm. It actually belongs to the Agave family.
Beaucarnea recurvata is named for the downward curvature of its leaves. It is a slow grower but with time will
form a fat trunk with lots of character. It will stay smaller if grown in pots and will work well indoors.
Ponytails are easy to grow. Water and let the soil dry out before you water it again.
Keep it above freezing.
