This is one of the most striking South American vines to show up in the market. It grows in full to partial sun and can reach about 12' in height on average if not trimmed. The showy flowers start from late winter to mid summer. Combretum aubletii is a medium to fast grower and likes average water and fertilizer. Established plants should survive temperatures in the high 20's for short periods of time with some protection.
