HOYA LATIFOLIA
This hoya gets really big leaves. Some people call this
hoya 'dinner plate hoya' because the leaves get so big
and round that they resemble a plate you eat off of. The
leaves can get some splashes. The flowers are also very
beautiful. They are all white or off-white. You usually
see many flowers per umbel and the cluster resembles a
big ball as seen in the pictures. This hoya is not a fast
grower, but eventually it can get big and needs a lot
of space. It is very easy to grow and flower. You can
see flowers during the warmer weather and they are fragrant.
It likes shade/filtered light and good drainage. Keep
above 50° F, okay to bring inside during the winter
time. Very impressive hoya with beautiful leaves and flowers
that is good for beginners.
