NASHIA
INAGUENSIS
Moujean Tea / Bahama Berry
Nashia inaguensis is a beautiful small shrub with small
shiny lemony fragrant leaves that are used to add a
vanilla flavor to teas. This plant gets tiny cream colored
flowers followed by tiny red/orange berries. The flowers
are tiny, but they magnify the scent of the plant and
the scent is fantastic. The flowers/leaves are highly
attractive to pollinators, especially the Atala butterfly
according to Wikipedia. This is a great plant for small
gardens in tropical climates. It is also perfect for
bonsai because of its miniature features.
