This is a tropical tree and it is best to avoid freezing temperatures. If it's going to be grown as a tree, it is only recommended for tropical climates. For colder areas, this plant also grows well in containers and makes a great bonsai as well. The small fern-like leaves makes it very suitable and desirable for bonsai. This plant grows best in full to partial sun. It likes average water, average fertilization, and good drainage. This plant is rarely offered for sale.
