First things first; what will I receive and when will I receive it?

AVAILABILITY
In our business, we have a limited supply for some of our plants, especially the more rare plants. We can't predict when our stock will run out or when the plants will not be ready for shipping, which we will inform you before your order is processed. If plants you are interested in are not available, I highly recommend that you contact us to be placed on a waiting list. We cannot predict when plants will become available, but being on the waiting list will insure you a notification as soon as it becomes available.

SHIPPING DAYS
All orders are shipped normally within a week after being received. During the busy spring and summer months, occasionally we can take up to two weeks to ship your order. We cannot hold orders for more than two weeks; please only order when you and your weather are ready to receive the plants. If you need to receive an order by a certain day, it is your responsibility to let us know so that we can plan an appropriate shipping day. We normally ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only to insure that the plants arrive before the end of the week. Occasionally we will ship on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

WHAT TO EXPECT
All of our plants are skillfully grown at our nursery. We guarantee quality and healthy plants that are reasonably easy to maintain. We only sell plants that we would be happy to purchase ourselves. If we notice a plant with imperfections, we will notify you before we ship.

All the pictures you see on our website are of our mother plants or mature plants/trees planted in the ground and are not of the exact plants you will be receiving. We provide the pot size of each plant we are selling. All of our plants are rooted and will be shipped in their pots unless specified otherwise. To give you a better idea:
2inch - 4inch pots = small/young plants
5inch - 6inch pots = young medium size plants
8inch - 10inch pots = normally larger plants, more or less 2ft - 3ft tall
Unfortunately we cannot provide pictures to you of the exact plants you will be receiving.

Which shipping method should I choose?

USPS PRIORITY MAIL
Normally USPS Priority Mail is a safe way for live plants to be shipped because it usually takes 2-3 days for packages to arrive. This is NOT a guaranteed 2-3 day service according to the post office, but it is unusual for it to take longer than that. We cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost or stolen and packages that are not delivered for reasons beyond our control. Please choose a different shipping method if you have experienced issues with the post office service.

FEDEX GROUND
Fedex ground is usually cheaper than USPS Priority Mail for heavy boxes, but it can take longer to deliver and the plants travel by truck from our nursery in FL to you. Keep in mind that plants traveling by truck can be exposed to hot and cold temperatures. We have been very happy with the Fedex ground service. It can take anywhere from 1-7 days to arrive to you depending on where you live. If you live in a west coast state, it will take 4-7 days to arrive. Be aware when choosing your shipping method that it can be risky for a plant to be stuck in a box for a week. We cannot be held responsible for damaged plants due to being confined in a box for a long period of time. Refunds/Replacements will be considered on a case by case basis if you received damaged plants due to long transit time.
If you have any questions or concerns on how long a carrier will take to deliver to you, please contact us before you place an order. We will often contact you with any concerns regarding the plants you chose plus shipping method, but understand that it is your responsibility to choose which shipping method is right for you.

We provide tracking numbers for all orders. We cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost or stolen and packages that are not delivered for reasons beyond our control.
Faster shipping methods are also available, although are quite pricey.

Refund/Replacement Policy

All orders are professionally packed to insure the safety of the plants. A few branches may break in the process, but will not affect the plants health. If a problem does occur when your order is received, please contact us within a 7 day period. Returns/replacements WILL NOT be considered if we were not notified within 7 days.
We will require you to e-mail us a picture of the damaged plant.

We provide a full refund or replacement:

-If you are not satisfied with your plants once they arrive.
-If there is severe damage due to shipping. A few branches or leaves may break in the process, but will not affect the plants health.
We are not responsible for plants once they arrive and are growing in your environment. We do not refund plants that die or decline because of reasons beyond our control.

WINTER SHIPPING
-We will do everything we can to make sure your plants will arrive safely. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a guarantee on plants sent during cold weather. We offer heat packs for $2 to help keep the plants warm during shipping. You may purchase heatpack(s) directly from the cart. More than one may be necessary if going in a large box.
-All of our plants are tropical and grown outdoors in South Florida.
We cannot guarantee the success or survival of these plants when placed indoors without the appropriate growing conditions.

Where we don't ship

Sorry, we do not ship International orders. We do ship to Canada. Please e-mail for Canada shipping requirements.

ARIZONA
Unfortunately, we are not shipping to Arizona at this time.

YES, we do ship to California, Hawaii, Alaska, Virgin Islands, and Canada. We also ship to Puerto Rico. The requirements to ship to PR are unclear, but we have had success when shipping small orders in small packages. Shipping to PR without a phytosanitary certificate would be shipped at your own risk. Please ask for more information on the certificate. A certificate is also required for us to ship to Canada. We also ship to Canada at buyers own risk only.
