A plant they call "Miracle Fruit." The miracle
is: after eating one fruit, sour and bitter foods taste
sweet. Eating even the sourest of limes, one will taste
only sugary sweetness. The fruit is not sweet itself, but
this amazing effect occurs and some people even use them
as natural sweeteners. This effect lasts between 15-60 minutes.
This slow growing African shrub likes to be grown outdoors
in a shady/filtered light area. They do well in containers
and can be grown indoors with bright light and high humidity,
but it is ideal to grow outdoors when possible. Fruit is
produced through out the year and hundreds of berries can
be harvested from a single plant. Miracle fruit can be rare
