TRACHELOSPERMUM
JASMINOIDES
Confederate Jasmine
Trachelospermum
jasminoides is a hardy mid size vine that produces many fragrant flowers during
the spring.
In many situations it can be used as a ground cover. It grows anywhere from
full sun to bright shade but it will flower heavily
with more light. It will grow well in most well drained locations with average
watering. They accept trimming very well and
can be kept compact enough for pot culture. Trimming should be done in late
winter or after the flowers are gone.
